The Mayor of Ames, José Blas García Piñeiro, and the Councilor for Economic Promotion Ana Belén Paz García, visited last Friday 14th our headquarters in Galicia, located in O Milladoiro, belonging to the municipality of Ames, just three kilometers from Santiago de Compostela.
During the visit with the authorities, the CATEC team with Lucía Lloret as head of our office, presented CATEC together with what we do in our technology center, and especially the main projects and activities that are developed in Galicia, highlighting the work that our colleagues perform under the direction of Avionics and Systems and explaining in detail the projects that each colleague performs in their day to day. In addition, they were shown the office area and the workshop of the Galician headquarters.
After the visit, they enjoyed a breakfast during which they took the opportunity to discuss the possibilities of collaboration with the City Council in order to seek synergies with other companies in the area, and the possibility of carrying out technical work in collaboration with the council, such as flight tests in certain areas.
Undoubtedly, it was a very profitable visit.
