From June 16 to 22, CATEC took part in the 55th edition of the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, the largest aerospace fair in Europe, with its own stand located within the Spanish Pavilion of TEDAE (the Spanish Association of Technological Companies in Defense, Security, Aeronautics, and Space).

The pavilion brought together 32 exhibitors to showcase their most innovative developments and the latest technologies in the aerospace and defense sectors.

We took advantage of this important event to promote our ATLAS experimental flight centers for UAS technologies and highlight the capabilities of their facilities. Macarena Márquez and Sandra Paco Ruiz welcomed numerous interested visitors to the ATLAS stand—some of them particularly noteworthy, such as the Director General of Strategy and Innovation for the Defense Industry, Lieutenant General of the Air and Space Force, Miguel Ivorra, who stopped by to learn more about how our flight centers can also support military operations.

We also participated in the celebration of Spain Day at the Air Show, held on the second day as a networking event to showcase the capabilities of our industry. It reaffirmed the competitiveness of Spanish companies and technology centers, and their ability to lead innovative advances in key areas of the production chain. Additionally, we attended the presentation by the Minister of Industry and the President of Andalucía Aerospace, who shared preliminary data on the Andalusian aerospace sector for 2024, reporting a turnover of €2.914 billion and the creation of 15,496 jobs.

Lastly, a team from Infodefensa TV visited us to interview the director of the ATLAS Flight Center. You can watch the interview on or check out the .
